You know the drill. You turn up. Someone does a round-robin. You hear fourteen elevator pitches. You sit through a PowerPoint about someone's "unique methodology." You swap business cards with people you'll never contact. You drive home thinking "well, that was an hour of my life."

Connection doesn't work like that. Connection is built on the same thing as any relationship: familiarity and trust. Familiarity comes from showing up. Trust comes from being remembered. And being remembered comes from making memories together.

A page inside the network, refreshed every week after Thursday's session. Every Rebel who turned up gets a spot: their business, their links, and a conversation starter they wrote themselves. So you can scroll a list of warm, self-introduced people and message them without guessing what to open with. Whoever won that week's scavenger game (we call it Scavingo) sits at the top, which is where most eyes land first.

Oh, and there's me. Hi.

I'm Caroline. I own Rebellious, and I host the Thursday 1pm session, our flagship, every single week. My real job, the one I actually care about, is making sure you leave having met someone worth knowing.

Here's what I believe. Real connection gets built by turning up, doing something together, and turning up again. The binned business card never stood a chance. My favourite thing in the world is watching two Rebels spark a collaboration that neither of them saw coming.

The Thursday networking proved it, so I'm building more rooms around the same idea: a skill swap, a pitch-practice room, more on the way, each one with a real purpose and all of them gloriously rebellious. More ways to connect that actually go somewhere. That is how I help your business grow, by getting you in a room with the right people, DOING things together.

What's the difference between a single ticket and the membership?

A single ticket on Eventbrite is £5 and gets you into one Thursday networking session. The membership is £5 a month and gets you every session, every other room we run, the Reach Out to Me Board, the community and chat, and access to everything new we add this year. Same price, a great deal more stuff.

What else is there besides Thursday networking?

Networking is the heartbeat, built around collaboration. Alongside it you've got a skill swap and a room to practise your pitch, with investment opportunities and speed dating on the way and more landing through the year. It all sits on one calendar inside your membership.

I'm already a Nab-A-Client member. Do I need to pay?

No. The network is included in your NAC membership. We'll sort you out.

Can I try a single event before committing?

Yes. Grab a single ticket for £5 on Eventbrite and come to a Thursday session. If you love it (you will), come back and join the monthly membership.

What if I can't make Thursdays?

The portal is open all the time, so there's always somewhere to land, and more rooms are landing on the calendar through the year. Thursday networking is the heartbeat, and most members find a way to make it work because it ends up being the highlight of their week.

Is this just online?

For now, yes. We have plans to take the network local with in-person meetups down the line. Watch this space.
