A live Sprint call in progress

You've been told to post more, show up more, be endlessly visible. Cute.
You're getting a client by Friday instead.

Picture Thursday afternoon. The message you sent that morning has a reply sitting under it, and the reply says yes. Not a "maybe later," not a "let's grab a coffee sometime" — an actual, let's-do-this yes, from exactly the kind of person you'd love to work with. You didn't hound anyone. You didn't turn into a walking pitch. You sent one good message to someone who already knew you, and it worked. That's Nab-A-Client.

The Good Person Penalty

That client was always there. Warm, within reach, quietly willing. So why haven't they already said yes?

Call it the Good Person Penalty. You worry that making a clear offer makes you the spammy one, and you'd never pitch-ify a good relationship, so you hint at what you do instead of saying it, undersell how good you are, and wait to be asked. Meanwhile someone with a fraction of your talent and none of your hesitation makes the ask you wouldn't, and walks off with the client. A client who'd have been better off with you, and often ends up let down. Your good manners don't cost you the work. They hand it to someone who'll do it worse.

No wonder you refuse to sell like them. Good instinct, but the best selling looks nothing like what they do. It's a clear, warm ask that's completely fine with a no, because a no just leaves the relationship exactly where it was. That's the whole test: if a message couldn't survive a no with the rapport intact, we don't send it. Which is precisely why these ones land the client and keep the friend.

Here's the good news: asking like that is a skill, not a personality you had to be born with. That's what Nab-A-Client is for. Five days to learn it, build your message, and send it, with help the whole way, and a client by Friday, integrity fully intact.

Your good manners don't cost you the work.
They hand it to someone who'll do it worse.

What it actually is

Each month runs on a single focus: one proven way to turn warm connections into clients. You're shown the method, given the templates and prompts, and you build and send your own version across the week, with the live calls there to sharpen it. You walk away with a client and with your Nab Kit: the whole method written up, yours to keep and run again whenever you like.

Different month, different focus. Same five days, same room, same result.

What Actually Happens

You'll be tempted to think what you need here is one more clever tactic. It isn't. What's been missing is a room that makes the uncomfortable bit feel good enough that you actually go through with it. Here's how the week does that.

Who's running this

Hi, I'm Caroline. I run Rebellious Business and the Rebellious Business Network, which is a long way of saying I spend my days with people who are brilliant at what they do and slightly allergic to selling it.

I know that feeling because it was mine for years. I was good at the work, and I told myself that would be enough, that if I just kept showing up, the right people would find me and ask. Some did. But plenty of others, people who liked me, who'd have said yes, quietly drifted off, because the only way I could imagine asking felt gross, so I didn't. I wasn't shy. I just refused to be the pushy one, and I couldn't see a third option.

Turns out there was one. A way to ask that's warm, clear, and completely fine with a no, that gets the client and keeps the friend. It wasn't a personality I was missing. It was a skill, and once I'd learned it, everything changed. So I started teaching it. And across the hundreds of business owners I've worked with through the Network, I've watched the same flip happen again and again: the ones who swore they "couldn't sell" landing clients the week they finally had a way to ask that felt like them.

I'm not here to be your marketing guru. I don't want you glued to a funnel or posting five times a day for the rest of your life. I want you to get a client this week, keep the skill, and get back to running the business you actually enjoy. That's the whole job.

Proof

None of these people had a big following or a clever funnel. Some barely had a business. What they had is what you have: a handful of warm people, and one message built in a Sprint.

Emily

Sent one message to a contact who'd ghosted her six months earlier. They signed — a £24,000 charity contract, then another £6,000 a few months later.

Gemma

Gemma

Posted one thing to a LinkedIn audience she'd nearly given up on. A quiet lurker nabbed her on the spot.

Jackie & Neil

Jackie & Neil

Put one post to their Money Tree Mastery audience and landed an £8,000 coaching client inside a week. They've done it again since.

Lara

Lara

Hadn't launched yet — no business, no track record. One message booked 40+ calls and sold out her programme before it existed.

Tash

Tash

Used one template from a Sprint to land two high-ticket branding clients in under two weeks.

Look at what actually did the work. Not audience size, not a trick, not becoming someone louder. The warmth was already there, quietly waiting. Remember the people waiting for you to make it easy? This is what happens when you finally do. The ask doesn't manufacture the yes. It just reaches the ones who were already there.

What you're really walking away with

A client, yes. But that's not the part that changes things. The part that changes things is that you'll have done it, once, cleanly, on purpose, and seen for yourself that it works and that it didn't cost you anything to be proud of. And once you've seen that, the whole knot loosens. Getting clients stops being this dreaded thing you avoid until the money gets scary. It becomes something you know how to do, on a Tuesday, whenever you want to.

That's the real prize. Not one client. The end of refreshing your inbox and hoping the universe sends you one.

This month's Sprint kicks off in —

Why this month, and not "someday"

There's a version of you that does this eventually. Next month, once things calm down. The quarter after, once you've tidied the website. That month never quite arrives, and here's the cost of waiting for it.

Keen doesn't keep. The person who was all in at that event three months ago? By now they half-remember meeting you once. Every week you don't ask, a little more of that goodwill cools: yes → maybe → sorry-who. You've already done the expensive part, the years of showing up and building the trust. This is just the week you finally spend it, before it quietly expires.

The next Sprint kicks off Monday. Turns out you can do this without becoming insufferable. Come and prove it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a big following for this to work?

No. If you're already posting, networking, or having the odd coffee chat, that's enough. This isn't about growing your reach, it's about turning what you've already got into an actual client without it feeling salesy.

I've been networking for months and it hasn't turned into clients. Will this help?

Yes. You've built the connection. What's missing is knowing how to make the ask without wrecking the relationship, and someone checking it lands right before you send it.

Is this a one-off, or ongoing?

Ongoing. Nab-A-Client is a membership: a new Sprint, with a new focus, every single month. You keep every Nab Kit you build, so the toolkit only grows.

Monthly or yearly — what's the difference?

£37 a month, cancel anytime, or £270 for the year — which saves you £174, near enough five months free.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime, no notice period. If you're on the yearly plan it runs to the end of the term you've paid for.

Can I run my own strategy instead of the month's method?

If you've got a client-getting idea, bring it. The room, feedback and hot seats work just as well on your own plan.

I don't really know how to run a sales call. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Sales training is built into the Sprint and matched to that month's method.

Will it be interactive, or am I just watching?

Interactive — hot seats, Q&A, paired breakouts. Not a webinar you watch from the back.

What if I can't make it live?

Every call is recorded, so you're not tied to being on Zoom at 2pm exactly.

Is the Rebellious Business Network included?

No — Nab-A-Client is its own membership, focused purely on the monthly Sprint. The Network is a separate £5/month community for weekly networking.

Five days. One client.
